You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Need to get my sorry butt across again, but thought I would ask on here...knowing a few relatively local folks are on here.
If you follow the fire road in an anti-clockwise direction to the far end - above Rorandle - there used to be a route to the left which took you off the fire road onto a decent path and you then took a left again....with a likely a push up through the trees until you got onto a wider path (with a great view over the Howe Of Alford to the right) which then took you past the start of the Cairn William trail (on left) before getting to the clearing between Cairn William and Green Hill, where the fire road would take your straight back down.
Does that path still exist or is it now overgrown?
Thanks all.
Does this help?
That's pretty up-to-date imagery
Hi, yep this route still exists, did it on my gravel bike a few times during the summer 👍
