I'm having problems with the chain bouncing off and getting stuck between the granny and those stupid Franken-E front mech bolts.
I have a strong mind to throw Hammer[schmidt]time at it, but I'm sure I could waste that money on something way more pointless.
So. Is anyone running a Gamut, DRS or any other contraption?
I have a drs on my enduro. its good. no chain issues at all since installing. the plate by the frame stops it dropping down, the bash stops it over shifting.
initially confused as it was a 2008 bike but has ISCG old tabs. make sure you check as spesh had the information buried deep in their website.
Just run a single ring and chain device, no problems then
running this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=35326 on mine, however the mounts dont line up on iscg tabs, so its fitted behind the bb cup. If i was to buy another i would go for a blackspire stinger as the bearings dont seem to have lasted long on the e 13
btw all spesh bikes are iscg old.
@59 times the pain

That's not an option where I live. My DH bike has that setup anyhoo.
Good thing you chaps told me; I just checked (measured the bike and checked against this) and it is ISCG OLD.
I had assumed that SBC use the 'current' standard!
I might give a the blackspire Stinger seanodav suggested and a Gamut 'ring a go. At the mo I have a Race Face bashring that is totally mullered, so let's see how this plastic thing copes with loose rocks everywhere.
Never had the problem you speak about. But I am currently running the Pitch as a 1x9 having removed the shifter and cable and using the front mech as a chain guide.
However I am thinking about fitting an LG1+ but I am unsure if I want to loose the granny permanently.
