Hi All,
Has anyone had issues recently with orders from Pipedream / Route Assembly (cycles)?
Now 3 weeks in from a confirmed order (Sirius S6 seconds frame), various emails chasing PD and now Ian at Route Assembly (cycles) who is supposedly sending orders out. Seems like a shambolic affair - anyone had similar or ideas to chivvy them up?! Conveniently no phone numbers to call....
ThanksÂ
Sadly that's why I didn't buy a Pipedream back in the day - I sent an email with questions pre-order and got no reply.
Meanwhile same question to Sanderson was replied to...
Sanderson Breath was my bike of choice...
Pipedream do have a problem with communication. Struggled when I ordered my Moxie and they never responded to a few times when I asked when spare mech hangers would be available. Very happy with the frame, but disappointed with the conpany
Ordered an S6 frame in February, eventually received in August, dispatch was unannounced and the (oversized) box was just left on the door step, the day before I was heading off to France for two weeks! Ordered BB, HS and steel fork in June based on their 'special price offer' to compensate for the continuous delays and lack of communications. Have never received a confirmation or delivery date for the parts despite repeated emails and posts on the Facebook Owners Group, which have gone totally unanswered. Have cancelled the order for the parts, no response received! So have taken this up with the Bank as paid for by CC. I should have read and taken note of the threads on here regarding their customer service, or total lack of it!Â
Never had any issues getting replies when I bought my 631 Sirius a few years back. I think the guys name was Stuart?
Still no frame after more chasing and several voicemails left for Ian at Route Assembly who is supposedly sending PD orders out. I'd be embarrassed if this was my business.... almost ready for a charge back scenario.
Such a shame. I love my Moxie and think they make brilliant frames, but looking at this and the activity on their FB group, everything else seems shambolic. I fancied an S6 Sirius to go with my MX3, but didn't fancy dealing with this sort of frustration, so I've ordered a Stanton instead.
Under Alan's ownership, it seemed like something was going on behind the scenes near the end - communication and service dropped off from where they had been and then the company was sold. Fair enough and I hope it wasn't anything too serious. But I cannot fathom Route Assembly then buying the brand and struggling to ship a few frames and answer some emails. Â
