I emailed them on friday and got a response in less than 10 minutes. What do you need?

Just to add a bit of balance.

Whilst a touch slow to respond I found them very good to deal with and was very happy with my R853 Sirius.

i had the best success with email.

I bought a Scion off them a month or so ago and although I really like the frame the experience of dealing with Pipedream hasn't been particularly smooth.

For a small company their customer service is pretty sluggish. And they owe me £5 which I've given up on.

IvanDobski what do you think of the frame now you've had a chance to ride it?

I like it. Quality looks good - neat welds, deep glossy paintwork which is untouched even after a couple of rides with no chainstay protector. It's one of those bikes which just looks right.

It's small for it's size, at 6'2 the large is just big enough so anyone taller may struggle.

Ride is comfy but fast and it fits my requirement for an all day non-rad trail bike perfectly.

The can be a bit slow to respond (which isn't good), I think that they might be out riding a lot (and I think that there are just two of them), but I found them genuinely keen to help when I did get hold of them.

Whether it's worth persevering in such a competitive market (there's lot of good steel hardtail frames to be had) is up to you but I really like the Sirius I got from them last year.

Pipedream were excellent for replying, I'd send an email on Saturday and I'd have the reply on a Sunday afternoon.
Equally very happy with my Sirius.

Some of these small bike businesses need to take a look at revelate designs for keeping customers informed. He actually puts it on the front page of his website when he is away, and often adds pics of his rides for everyone to enjoy.

When I dealt with pipedream I got the impression it was a business of convenience rather than one borne out of riding knowledge or passion.

DO NOT ever buy from a Spanish manufacturer if you think that a 2 day wait is worthy of comment. I agree that keeping on top and keeping the customer informed is good for business, not all customers value this.
