Hiya, quick pedal question.

I've got DMR V11s on one bike and Vaults on two others.

I've noticed that the Vaults grips lot better. I think it is down to the pins.

Can you run King Pins on the V11s? Any aftermarket pins that would work fine?

Longer and spiky please.

Why not take a pin from a Vault and see if it fits the V11? Or ask DMR directly.

Decent advice.

Basically pins kits from DMR are silly money - its 14 quid pins for pedals you buy for 40 quid.

So am looking to do more cheaply with other bolts.

I know the dimensions of King Pins - so I'm working back from those.

See your point though - if King Pins will fit, then bolts the size of King Pins will also fit.

Yes, assuming the thread is the same... I would imagine they use a standard thread though and not something weird/unique.

I’ve always just bought a big bag of generic steel pins for all the flat pedals I’ve had.  Find out what diameter they are and eBay some longer grub screws to use. They’re normally as grippy as most even if they’re not the fancy shape. Also for a few quid you haven’t lost much if they don’t improve the grip.
