Hello, I usually ride a 56cm Genesis Day One and Jamis Road bike and am looking at an Arkose CX bike but am not sure if I'd be better with a medium or a large. Anyone out there had a similar dilemma? If so, what did you go for? Cheers. Oh, nearest Evans dealer is miles away so sitting on one is a bit of an expedition.

Probably a Med, unless the 56 Day One is a almost too-compact fit. I'd ride a 58cm Day One / CDF and a L Arkose, with the same bar+stems the L Arkose feels a little longer overall.

I went from a 54cm Specialized Langster to a medium Arkose, I feel more stretched out now. I'd imagine the medium will be right for you.

If you're anywhere near Cockermouth you can have a sit on mine.

I'm 5ft 10 and went for a large Arkose, since the top tube length was similar to my race bike but the Arkose only has an 80mm stem. I also wanted to have a longer headtube and slam the stem rather than have a stack of spacers.

My other drop barred bike are all the equivalent of 56cm size.

The best part of 12 months on and its been fine!
