I've seen a secondhand Priority 600x pinion.drive bike for sale. It also has wren inverted forks.

Went to.view today and really like it. I'm hoping to use it for backpacking, touring , multi dayers.
Before I commit, does anyone have any experience of Priority bikes, pinion gearboxes and wren forks. Hopefully all is positive.
Duzer was involved in the design, and he gives/gave his some proper hard use.
Pinion owner here and only few hundred miles use but really like it.
I’d make sure current owner hands you pinion warranty info and if it’s more than 1 year old they give you proof of oil change (service receipt or kit purchase receipt if service was DIY).
Pinion warranty supposed to be very good but you’d need registration info and proof of service.
Pinion:
Mines worked as it should for 4 years now. In certain situations (winch and plummet enduro type riding, big days up and down big mountains, IME) it’s brilliant. In other areas, undulating terrain, it’s less immediate than a regular mech setup.
If you can get on with Gripshift, mores the better, I couldn’t. Triggers are available, but they’re expensive/hard to find, and have their own issues.
There is a bit of drag, but you only notice it if you are swapping between bikes.
Always fancied a Wren, though heard they are a little temperamental with setup.
Not a wren owner but I know several who all highly rate them - they also have a UK distributor who is excellent at service and parts etc. They only deal with wren & are located near FoD.
The only negative thing I'd say is that the black stanchions do seem to wear with regular use, but this doesn't degrade performance just the look.
