Hi, i'm looking for some pikes at 140mm for 26" wheels, but can only find 150mm, do you know if it's possible to reduce the travel on these?

Thanks

Ubyk website, they do a 140mm Pike in 26 called the Pike DJ (for dirt jumpers) but I should imagine it'll be fine for a normal MTB too.

I cut 10mm off the air shaft to get 140mm, you can get it done my a machinist but I just carefully used a hacksaw and a file.

Buy any pike of your choice, change the air shaft, page 12 of the attached tells you which one

Cutting it down is also an option but will void the warranty, if that's important.

Not sure I'd be buying a DJ fork when an air shaft swap is so straightforward

Bought mine from tf tuned who reduced them to 130mm as part of the tune up.

I bought a pair for my Cube, only wanted 150mm but Alltricks were selling 160mm at £320 🙂

So my plan was to buy them and then get the air-shaft to lower - haven't bothered and aren't going to.

For you, it's only 10mm, just run a bit more sag.

I have a Pike 150mm air spring sitting in the house if you want to make me an offer.
