[Closed] PIke RCT3 lockout setting is it a actual lockout ?

Possible problem with my RCT3 Pikes when I turn the lever to lock they dont appear to.
Pretty sure they used to ? Also not a lot of difference in feel between full open / middle / lock.

It's not lock out, its compression damping turned all the way up

and maybe with a bypass as well, if you properly hit something ?

Funny, just fitted a set and was wondering the same thing. Off to Glentress tomorrow, will see if I can tell difference on the trails.

Hmm but still noticeably firmer than full open or the middle setting .

Mine (two sets) are almost locked out. Not completely, but I doubt I'd get more than 20% of the travel even I tried very hard.

OP, if you feel hardly any difference then you definitely need them looking at.
There should be a very noticeable difference.

I had this, all be it on the RC model. When I took the lowers off, the damper had lost a bit of oil (from reading other posts on mtbr not uncommon due to poor lower seal)

I bled the damper and changed the seal and it seems fine now.
