This fork has 160mm and 130mm positions. How does this actually work ?
Does the fork length remain the same and travel is reduced to 130mm ?

There can't be many 29ers with geometry to cope with 160mm suspension other than the Specialized enduro model ?

The fork length reduces by 30mm in the lower position. There is a dial on the top of the crown. Turn it to 130mm and depress the forks and they stay at 130mm travel. Turn the dial back and the forks will extend to 160mm travel.

Got the 150mm version on my Nicolai, which doesn't need to be dropped for climbing, so I'm pretty sure the 160mm version wouldn't unsettle the bike. I wouldn't mind trying one.

I thought it was only 140mm for the 29"
