Quick question..

I've got some 650b non-boost pikes..

Can I swap the lowers out for a 29 pike lower?

You'd need to look at the tech diagrams and see if they share other bits. Suspect it'll be a no though. Offsets may well be different between wheel sizes even if the internals are the same. Probably easier and less costly just to sell/buy.

I wouldn`t recommend swapping anything out... swap over, or change whatever you like, but NEVER swap out....

From what I've been able to find out the legs on all the CSUs are the same length and the offset is set by the CSU so you should be able to swap out for a non boost 29 lower of the same version pike. However you will travel will be reduced by 10mm? and the offset will be whatever it is currently.

Isn't the rebound damper shaft wheelsize specific?

Am I right in thinking that a longer shaft (he he) would be ok, so a 29er would work for all wheel sizes, but a 26er would only fit 26" lowers?

*Edit* thinking about it, you might have clearance issues running a 29" shaft on a smaller wheelsize, rebound damper might hit compression damper. Not sure what the exact dimensions are.
