whats the difference between the two? have the airs already and have been thinking
about replacing coil revs on other bike for pikes and only coils seem available
now,Sram site lists 454 coils as 5lbs.

dual air are listed as 4.5lbs the u-turn air are 4.7lbs and the coils 5lbs as you say.

you can't get air pikes in 2009 guise. coils only i believe. if you want air forks you'll be getting revs.

Anyone know where i can still find a pair of PIke air 2008?
was thinking of selling my fox van 36's and replacing with pikes. may have to get the coils thou.

Its been a while but I'm pretty sure my 454 Coils were 2.42 kgs with the remote Poploc lever & cable attached. Great forks.

BTW my Coil U-turn pikes with an alloy steerer are 2.25kgs
