On One are doing the Lurcher frames pretty cheap at the moment but I'm struggling to get past the looks to some extent 😳

So, anyone care to post pics of their XL Lurchers to show me that I'm wrong and that they look fanstastic once built up?

I have an XL, though its currently in the box and not built up. I think it looks fine, but I don't buy bikes for the looks.

Heres my medium I like it. Bb creaks like mad tho and the forks dont match as they had no stock other than that I like it

Me neither usually. I'm struggling a bit on this one though.

Creaking pressfit BB - you poor chap. Common feature of this bb type, it would put me off the frame - mechanics rightly can't stand them.

No issues with the PF BB on one of my other bikes...

Its more like the carbon creaking than anything to do with the actual bottom bracket

The sleeve creaking in the frame? That sounds concerning...

More like creaking with the whole frame flexing doesn't bother me in terms of a fault just the noise

Carbon doesn't creak on its own...

It does with a fat knacker bouncing on the pedals

Again, the carbon itself doesn't...

Mind you I'm derailling my own thread (is that possible?) 🙂

So, back to the OP, is the lack of pictures of XL lurchers because they are indeed as ugly in the flesh as I'm concerned they might be? 😉

Yes don't buy one they are dead ugly, although I think mine looks great and rides brilliantly, it xl and I think it looks just right and doesn't look tiny when I sit on it. I cant find a picture but if you look my previous posts you will find one.

I think they look great with a matt frame and rigid forks. How does it ride Firestarter?

you guys are so funny. tempted to get a slackset for mine, if I can find one that will work with a tapered steerer, don't think on one have one yet and works components seem to be sold out of a lot of stock

To me, they've always looked like they've been left too near a radiator and melted a bit.

They look like they've been squished and the tubes have bowed out like Specialized road bikes (I'm expecting them to sue me for that comment). Pretty damn ugly bike.

Yeah, I noticed the reduced clearance to the TT when I got on the bike first time. Didn't have an issue when riding though.

mine in large, i've had no problems with creaking in over 12 months, I payed just over £200 for the frame & built it up myself and for the money it is a stonking good ride

They are great. Ignore the h8trz, I've had more random people comment on how good the bike looks than any other bike I've owned.
