You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Hope many of you manage to get out on what is a very different Christmas. I just about squeezed in a few very chilly loops of Bruntwood BMX.
Let's see your Christmas ride photos.
Not a ride, a swim.
Snowy Loch Morlich. Air temp 1.5c. Water temp 3c.

Just a quick hack out today. The trails were snuff dry but jeez it was cold. Ice on my favourite sketchy decent so I bottled it
Merry Christmas everyone

Another swim rather than ride...

1cm of ice to break!
Really stunning day today for a local ride in Warwickshire.
So sick of mud everywhere so it was refreshing to have it cold enough so that much of it was frozen.
The rivers are all flooded around here and so had to divert my route about 5 times as all the usual crossing points were underwater.

Back from my ride to open a scarf off Brant too 😊👍

Started off at Sunrise-really nice morning out and very quiet first thing.

Too snowy too go for a ride (fat bike's in storage), so ran up a mountain instead:

A walk rather than a ride but I see the rules have been broken already. Happy Christmas everyone.

Cotswolds hills were lovely today quite a few people up Lecky above Cheltenham quieter over Birdlip and Cranham first time I hidden on frozen ground up there in years nice to not get plaster in mud happy days milder tomorrow and back comes the rain for Sunday we are so lucky.
Mrs kilo flexing her guns in the Surrey mud

I'm coming round to the idea that winter is for digging, then enjoy the trails in the daylight months.
Not on Xmas day tho!.
No riding until Sunday. I did go out and stroke the bike and say "soon my pretty". Mrs Sandwich found this mildly disturbing.
Got out on my road bike this afternoon, managed to catch a pretty awesome sunset...

Everywhere is flooded round here, so any MTB from the door (not that there's any trails to ride!) would have been a partially submerged ride anyway, and didn't get up early enough to go anywhere for a decent trail ride so...
Not a patch on these photos from someone else in local facebook group, who managed to capture the sunset over the flooded racecourse though!

Tough luck for those stuck inside on arguably the nicest day we'll have this winter!
First spin on the new Sonder Camino. Only an hour but I can tell we’re going to be happy together.
To avoid the snow that had fallen on Christmas Eve I stayed as close to the coast as possible. Drumtochty Forest hadn’t quite avoided it, but all the trails were snow free.

There are some gorgeous pics on the thread! I am obviously being a plank, I have read the how to post an image, copy actual location etc but still can't get the image to post in the thread from amazon, although I can put in a click-able link:
It was a stunning day in Shropshire!
Link no worky,, or at least for me it doesn’t. I don’t know how to post pictures either!!
Simplest method I’ve found is to upload to postimages.org first. Then you click on the button next to the “hotlink for forums” that will copy the link to your clipboard and you just paste that straight into your message here.
A few pints at my local after food then headed into the local hills it was a tad chilly but slept like a baby woke up bang on time for the sunrise.
