We have had bikes and bridges, bikes and log piles, bikes hanging in trees.

Perhaps time for another photo challenge?

Bikes and deserted buildings.

The rules are the photo has to be taken after this thread was started, taken by you.

OK, excuse this if you like because it was taken late summer, but the chances of me riding over the hill to get to this in the next few months are somewhat remote...Glenfiddich Lodge

You can guess from the sky that this was a couple of months ago. I cracked a rib a few minutes after this attempting a pathetic little bunny hop.

I think the building has been abandoned for about 400 years.

So presumably your photo contravenes the rules, OP?

That is the idea - an excuse to ride somewhere to get some good pics. I have somewhere in mind I have been meaning to drag a bike to.

This is the best I could do today.I think it kind of counts, built 1786,never consercrated, never used, fell into ruin and disrepair and then got restored in 2013

Bottom of North America this morning, not much left of it now. It used to be a farm and local rumours are that it was used as target practice during WW2.

Ooh, I like the shepherds hut.

I'm waiting for roads less icy before I can go get a couple of pics I'm after.

A couple from my commute this morning, not good photos, but hey, participation!

I'm not quite sure how deserted the 2nd building is. The other side of it, at the top is kinda in use, but it's certainly not well looked after.

run

The overgrown sports-stadium spectator-stands which all that remain of Guilliemont Barracks. The Barracks were demolished to make way for a business park which in turn has just been demolished to make way for a housing estate.
