We have had bikes and bridges, bikes and log piles, bikes hanging in trees.
Perhaps time for another photo challenge?
Bikes and deserted buildings.
The rules are the photo has to be taken after this thread was started, taken by you.

OK, excuse this if you like because it was taken late summer, but the chances of me riding over the hill to get to this in the next few months are somewhat remote...Glenfiddich Lodge

Thought I had a pic of my bike here as well but could only find a pic of this trike.
Oops, just read full rules. This was taken last year - disqualified!!
I’ve got lots as I combine riding with Urbex especially during the last year. I CBA working out how to post pics tho.
It's really is easy. Just upload your picture to postimages.org and paste the link.
Does an 18th Century Folly count?

Taken this morning - three doors down
You can guess from the sky that this was a couple of months ago. I cracked a rib a few minutes after this attempting a pathetic little bunny hop.

I think the building has been abandoned for about 400 years.

So presumably your photo contravenes the rules, OP?

OK, not a deserted building but an abandoned railway carriage in a field near Grantown

Glen Avon on the way up from Tomintoul

Bit strict innit? ☹️ I ain’t riding down to the folly in this weather. Proper mud-fest down there

Two bikes at Clackmannan Tower

Wobes

@tracy, I call ambergate wireworks for the first pic.
Some great photos! I'm inspired to the the big camera out over Christmas 🙂
That is the idea - an excuse to ride somewhere to get some good pics. I have somewhere in mind I have been meaning to drag a bike to.
@tall_martin its not even near, second pic is same place which should make it easy
Ah well, nil point!
I'll just have to find some myself 🙂
This is the best I could do today.I think it kind of counts, built 1786,never consercrated, never used, fell into ruin and disrepair and then got restored in 2013

👍
Ignore me.... didn’t read the rules 😂
Ooh, I like the shepherds hut.
I'm waiting for roads less icy before I can go get a couple of pics I'm after.

-2° all day here, the sun came out a bit as I took the pic.
Don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't get photo's to uolode
Killabega farm high above the Sulby Valley on The Isle of Men . Lots of these abandoned hill farms on the Island

Now that I've finally mastered it here's another from the same place showing some of the old machinery still in place . Taken on New Years Day
Not sure if this counts...

Shornemead Fort on the Thames.
As it is today....

and as it once was .....

Taken a couple of hours ago. Quite deserted.
A couple from my commute this morning, not good photos, but hey, participation!

I'm not quite sure how deserted the 2nd building is. The other side of it, at the top is kinda in use, but it's certainly not well looked after.

The overgrown sports-stadium spectator-stands which all that remain of Guilliemont Barracks. The Barracks were demolished to make way for a business park which in turn has just been demolished to make way for a housing estate.
Martinhutch is that on the old railway line above Rosedale?
