Need a new PF30 as the ole spesh ones are constantly wearing out !
Instead of going through the hassle of fitting a threaded one with the use of an adaptor I'll just upgrade
Looking at the Hope Press fit or the Chris King one, anyone had any experience with either ?
Watching with interest
Praxis Works here, I've been running mine for about two years now.
Once the BB has been fitted, you can simply drift out worn bearings and press in replacements. As luck would have it, my other bike has a BB92, so the same tool does the job for drifting out. A length of threaded bar, two nuts and sturdy washers is all you need to press back in.
On the Specialized bikes we have that have come with them fitted they are still all going strong. On the ones we have built up have always gone with the Hope one, not had to replace the bearings in them yet. You will need have access or have one of the Hope tools to make fitting easier
I went hope & have no been disappointed. Easy to fit, easy to service
PJM1974 Can you tell me the replacement bearing number or size for the Praxis BB30 Shimano converter? As far as I can see I think it reads 24x37x7 but its hard to see as its worn. If you are running the same one?

I like my Hope PF46.
Yes you need the fitting tool or to borrow it but worth it once it is in.

I've just fitted a Wheels Manufacuring version of the Hope PF46. Picked up cheap for £40 bnib but had to get a shop to fit.
