Looking to fit a shimano crank to my specialized. Already bought the crank. The question is do i shell out £60 for a praxis works bottom bracket adapter or do i install this?

It's less than half the price but it's permanent which scares me a little bit.
Anyone have/know any experiences with either?
I've had both and had no issues with neither. Praxis wins for me though as it's less determinant and the bearings are bomb proof.
I had the FSA fitted to my old E29, it was rock solid and took Shimano threaded BBs perfectly afterwards - the perfect solution, IMO.
Would this work? I have one on my Marin CX bike that has a PF30 and shimano 105 crankset
That's great thanks for the responses gives me a bit more confidence.
Chakaping and neilsonwheels - Is the FSA converter easy to install or is it a bike shop job? Is it an absolute permanent solution or can it be knocked out again further down the line without damaging the frame? And if it's a bike shop job will they need specific tools? I want it to be a clean and perfect installation and i'm not sure I have confidence in my LBS to deal with a very niche bottom bracket installation that could potentially damage the frame after seeing them fail to remove my stuck dropper post in quite a heavy handed way.
Jonnyboi i'm not really sure about that link you posted it says it's for Mega Exo which i'm not sure shimano is.
