Having recently moved house, the Pentlands are now my local hills. I've got an OS map and Strava (of course) to try and find the good stuff, but if anyone is willing to give me an idea of a good loop it'd be very much appreciated. Not too fussed about the terrain, ideally technical stuff but I'll take whatever is on offer.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers Perchy, just bumped that thread up for Andy to see.

Andy, we're just trying to get a regular midweek ride going at the moment so not doing anything too epic or adventurous, but hopefully still taking in some decent stuff. Would give you a good base to start exploring from.

Tomorrow's ride should take in a couple of classics including some decent hillside singletrack that will keep you on your toes and some faster grassy stuff that the Pentlands does quite well.
