Hey
Just been for a trundle up the Super Torphin Compost Quarry Expressway through the farm and round to Maidens, Phantoms and down through the woods off Puke Hill.
All dry EXCEPT the wee water feature running down Maidens on the south side. It's not muddy so much as just lots of running water.
Phantoms coming off Maidens up the way was very muddy, gooey. Lot's of churned up sections.
Phantoms gate that joins the next section towards Bonaly is very wet and large puddles in the dips and trough bits.
Overall not too bad now and should be dry in a couple of warm breezy days.
Over n out.

Thanks for the report cheif! Phantoms is nearly always a bog, one of the reasons I avoid it.
It's vital research Jim. Vital.
Think will head up wed and have a play again. Good for clearing the head.
BTW, got covered in what look to be flying ants... they are tickly.
I'm just jealous, stuck in here, working for the man.
Yep, Phantoms is almost always a total disaster, as is the Black Hill descent. Avoid if it's rained substantially in the preceding week.
Hmm - trying to decide if it's the MTB or road bike tonight, still not sure.
