Looking at doing the Penn-Duro later in the year but I'm not sure of which bike to take. It looks to be a lot of quite technical off road stuff (so thinking hard tail MTB) but then also a lot of road linking it together (so thinking gravel bike). Has anyone done it or know the area well to advice which bike to take?
We're looking at doing it as an overnighter, is there a good place to stay in Todmorden that's bike friendly.
I know Todmodern is home to ST Towers so thought this might be a good place for advice.
