Alright guys, I'm thinking of riding Pendle hill in Clitheroe this weekend. Does anyone know of a good route?

I've only done a quick evening out and back jaunt up there years ago but I recall the track from the trig point, down Ogden Clough to the nick of pendle being surprisingly good fun...

Edit: the middle bit of that route, along the valley itself, isn't on the map! I don't think I'm misremembering...

@phil You're not, there's a path that traverses the edge of the clough, it's the route that the fell races take. A bit indistinct from the trig point until you are almost at the top of the clough.

Word to the wise.

Best not do this during the day....................

I never have, never......................

And to be fair, there a lot better riding in the area
