My 6 year old V12s have just completely disintegrated internally on a local ride. Horrendous noises! They don’t owe me anything and it’s time to replace them obviously.
I really like the grip and feel of them but the only problem I have with them is they are slightly too small side to side. I haven’t got big feet but I have to have the inside of my foot against the crank to really fit on them.
I don’t want anything crazy big, like my wife’s superstar nanos, and they need to be in the sub £50 price bracket…and funky colours too!
What should I look at?
Cheers.
Edit: and something with a thinner profile wouldn’t hurt as my bike does suffer with a low BB and I get a few pedal strikes on off-camber trails.
Easy choice at the current price:

I actually prefer my Nanos as they are bigger than the Horizons, but these are great value
Thanks folks, couple of good options there. Were the nukeproofs ever really £100?
Crankbrothers stamp in large have a massive platform, much wider than the V12 which I've run also.
Nukeproof neutron and horizon are also a bit bigger than the V12s.
Gusset Slim Jims here, really like them and very comfy/wide. Madam has some V somethings and they feel too narrow for me
Deity Deftrap. Best pedals I've had, after filing them to increase the concave I'd say they are better than T-Macs.
As you “really like the grip and feel of” your V12s and after something slightly larger…
then surely it must be DMR Vaults for the win
But appreciate £75 in a funky colour is above your £50 target
I find Vaults a lot bigger than the V12 for my size 9s. Sam Hill’s are a nice middle ground.
T-macs hands down the best pedals
I love DMR vaults but they eat through bushes incredibly quickly unfortunately
