Seeing as SDG Slater Junior pedals don’t seem to exist anymore and Chromag and Hope cost more than mine can anyone recommend a decent pedal for small kids?

Are they any going? And does anyone do a decent plastic one with steel pins in a similar size?

She wants “purply pink” and he wants green grips and pedals.

We just used DMR V6s

Pink or purple, both in stock £14

Green also available, though not at Merlin, £15

Yes the plastic pins will wear out. But at £14?

I’ve got Wellgo KC001’s on both my kids bikes. They’ve lasted ages and have good grip. I got both sets of eBay.

We have KC008s, got them off Aliexpress. My daughter hasn't even got to size 1 yet. I assume by small kid you mean one that's nowhere near adult pedal size.

Huh? There are loads of SDG slaters out there, I bought a pair for the smallest sprog only a few weeks ago.

Wiggle have them in stock, as do a few other sites.

I just got some bmx pedals for the kids, they seem slightly smaller and come in all sorts of colours. The plastic pins are grippy enough as well and you can’t go wrong for £14

how small are your kids and what level are they at?

I tried plastic pin pedals with my kids but for wet xc they just werent grippy enough and they slipped off teh pedals a few times.

my kids are on nukeproof electron copies with metal pins. no more slippy feet and the kids are really happy with them

kids are 12 and 9 not that gnar but happy on the blues at BPW. just about starting to get airtime.
