Has anyone got any opinions on Pedalcover travel insurance? Me and the wife are lucky enough to be going to Alps for a wekk in July and Pedalcovers top level cover is a good bit cheaper than Dogtag & Snowcard. Almost to good to be true, so not sure if I'm missing something.
Been with them for two years and they appear to be good value for money - but not made a claim yet. Note they are brokers not insurers.
One way they manage to reduce the premium is make the excesses high, and then take out an excess insurance policy for you to get the excesses back down to a sensible level. I guess that means a little more hassle sorting the monies out during a claim when dealing with two insurers. The cover for bikes seems very good.
