Hello,
I'm relatively new to off-road biking and was wondering if anyone had done Pedal to the Pier before? (www.mencap.org.uk/pedaltothepier). It looks like a great ride and doesn't look like it will be that technical and it's more the distance that's the challenge which is fine but would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has done it before as am a little nervous of downhills!
Thanks
Amy
Didnt know they did that must take a bit longer and way more fun, looking at the route there seems to be only a few descents at Rivington pike area, I wouldn't worry about it, maybe go and get some practice around that area or anywhere. I'm sure lots of riders know this area well, rode it years ago.
The event ran for the first time last year. It's a ride in the park. Well, some riding through parks along with some scenic cycle tracks, canal side singletrack and some cobbles but nothing too technical, but for an optional descent at Rivington. Nice day out.
