I shook it, I activated it, I applied.  Chain rusty next day.  Never had that happen with other lube brands.  Am I just pish at applying lube.  My wife says I'm "ok". Appreciate any thoughts.

I have the Peaty's Wet lube and had similar a couple times...not sure why. Maybe not the next day but it certainly didn't last as long as other stuff I've used. Small point; but I don't really like how the lube itself is also brown. Also it's expensive.

Also - the wet lube bottle clogs up all the time so I have to dismantle the nozzle to apply it.

use it all the time.

never had that problem.

Its a little bit more work to apply. I do a good drop on each link, pedal and change through gears to just manipulate the lube into the rollers then let it dry off

before the next ride I just wipe off any excess and go.

Ah, its MEANT to go brown....Perhaps I mistook brown for rust.

I'm slowly working my way through a bottle of coffee 'flavoured' Peaty's lube. It does the job, smells nice, but I swear my chain has gone furry a couple of times when I've left the bike in the garage for too long!

I’ve been using Peatys all weather premium and found it to be brilliant. Switched to the wet for the winter months and I like it. I’ve got dry for the road bike. All of them have been brilliant IME. Found them better than squirt, smoove, finish line, juicelubes. They seem to run clean and easy to reapply

I thought the All-Weather was the blue stuff I've got...?

In any case, I've found it just right for me, my typical trail conditions and my washing routine.

Stays on, chain isn't rusty, but not so sticky that it makes jockey wheels grow like they're absorbing water.

I have the same as fenderextender after his recommendation.
I find that I have to really make sure the chain is wiped dry before I apply it. I have no issues with doing that. Has lasted well in the most horrible conditions.

Never had any issues with Peaty's, been using it since they bought out Wickens and Soderstrom.  I use the blue for the summer and the white for the winter/muddy rides and they're both great.  I only get a rusty chain if I wash the bike after a ride then forget to relube the chain afterwards, but that's been the same with every lube I've ever tried and only an actual problem with the lower spec chains that are prone to rusting anyway.

The lubes are the highlight of the Peaty range and the best I've found, the rest is middling at best!

I tried the All-Weather and think it's rubbish to be honest. Doesn't seem to do anything the advertising claims it will.  Not using any more...

The dry and all weather lubes seem good from peatys, don’t get all claggy. I avoid wet lubes for all but massive days out in the winter. They just seem to make a mess. I also tend to avoid massive days out in the winter.

I use all weather and currently the premium aw with no issues, really happy with the results, chains are XT 12sp.

Weldtite TF2. Cheap, clean, works. Maybe not the most tenacious but not bothered as it's cheap and clean. I've tried most stuff including Peaty's and the full Putoline, I just use Tf2 on the ebike and Smoove on the roadie now

Wildlife tF2 was my oil of choice before I went down the chain lube rabbit hole. Good, slippery oil that's not too thick.

Comes with all the usual gunky lube issues but seems a little easier to deal with than some on the clean up side of things.

Rilly? I don't find it gunky at all, also find it washes off easily so easy to live with and reapply as often as required
