Does quite help you but ride there on Sunday and it had rained the night before and pretty good except for the odd puddle... it tends to be quite sandy and with this weeks deluge could be muddy in places?!

Thanks for the info. Looking for somewhere to fill in gap the cancelled Malverns has left behind. Cheers

With all the rain it will be pretty grim, that sandy soil makes a great grinding paste for gears and brakes. Having said that if you are going tomorrow, while it will be wet, it will be better than the weekend, after many a wheel has been over it and churned up the soft ground.

Different trails on different hills tend to drain better or worse, you can be ankle deep in mud on supernova and then Barry knows best can be almost dry at the same time.

After the week we've had it would be a good time to visit welsh trail centres.

Was there Saturday afternoon. Trails full of the usual deep puddles in the places water collects inc Captain, Supernova, yoghurt pots, telegraph, proper bo. Barry’s was running really nicely as loads of grip. Rain has been on/off since the weekend so doubt it’s dried up much.

rode it on Tuesday night during the only break in rain the whole week... apart from a few puddles i thought it was running fantastic. preferred it even. the steeper ones were spot on but it was nice to find some grip in all those flat turns too.

Leith will be soggy. Pitch will be horrible. Holmbury will be better.
