As above, i'm after a route in the Peaks this weekend that's not going to be completely bogging all the way round, I realise mud is inevitable - but some routes are a bit more 'all weather' than others - I was thinking Eyam-ish... any suggestions?

Not Eyam... but Edale.

Up Greenlands to Hollins Cross, Down the Bridleway into Castleton, Broken Road, Descend from the bus stop at Mam Nick back into Edale, then climb Chapel Gate, round to Hayfield taking in Roych Clough, South head etc.. drop into Coldwell Clough then climb up to Edale Cross and finish on Jacobs Ladder.

Add or subtract bits to suit, sorted.

Stay in dark peak, white peak will be a muddy mess. Ladybower loops are pretty wether proof, as is the edale loop finishing on Jacobs ladder
