Thanks for yesterday Chris. Great ride and good to see some new faces and a Neon coloured bike! Used a brand new set of Elixir pads on my rear brake, Sticky ****** pistons Grrrrrrrrrrr 👿
I used up a set of brake pads too!
Just been down the dirt jumps for a couple of hours and got caught in a hail storm again! Bloody December, anyone would think it was winter...
You lot brake too much 😉
My rear brakes are about gone too, not sure if its the pads or something else, need to have a play to try and sort them.
I've not looked at my bike since the ride. It's probably about as broken as it normally is.
Yeah Sam, we should all stop with our face like you 😛
Can't wait for the vid..
Whilst watching/stood next to pook filming in recording range I said of Sam 'he's like Sam Hill, look he's doing the DH-face'
And
Yellow orange5....'He looks like he's been on holiday recently, either that or its jaundice'.
Gutted Chris didn't get any of the crashes on video 🙁
I haven't put them in the video Hora bags. Though I might when I get chance.
It's just uploading now -
Yellow orange5....'He looks like he's been on holiday recently, either that or its jaundice'.
It's funny you should mention that lol... I literally just got back from Sri Lanka, but I was ill and craping out of the eye of a needle for the entire trip and I saw a rat in a restaurant while I was there, so I could have weils disease a side effect of which is jaundice. So could be either...
😯 😆
Here you go everyone. Enjoy - shorter than normal as my fingers were so cold I couldn't press the record buttons towards the end.
*ever so glad I was working and couldn't make it*
See that bit at 1.28 / 29 when Hora passes the camera? That puddle that Hora's about to hit is where Sam last it and hit the tree last week
Nice video Chris! Shame I couldn't make this! Weather looked interesting...
Nice one. The bit i fell off on looked rougher in the video than when i was riding it, interesting...
Amazed by the Enduro. First ride from the previous nights build (cough cutting corners), popped 30psi in less than recommended and it felt good. Can't see the vid yet- how bad am I? Don't forget we had the wind and rain into our eyes!
Can't watch the video yet, had to change rear brake pads as well yesterday .
hora its your first ride on it of course you like it. give it 5 more and youll want to sell it.
sambob, were you dodging invisible bullets? lots of ducking and diving going on!
i noticed Sam was moving about a bit! looked rapido though

I think you'll find it's called finesse 😉
What !! We suffered for our cause for hours in that proper grim weather and we only get a short one 😛 All credit where it's due for that Chris, I couldn't even undo the zips on my bag to get my camera out, definitely Winter gloves for next time 😯
Thanks very much for that, much appreciated 😛
Cracking ride altogether though.
Graeme - Diana wants the recipe for the bhajis
On that first climb when the rain suddenly came in I thought to myself 'I'm shattered/cant do this and might bale'.... Only to continue 😆
We 'just' missed Cy and his merry band of Cotic fans who turned left onto the road as we got to the bottom of Hagg farm
It's a good job I know you Chris 😛
Here we go. This should give you about 16 -18 of the same size we had on Saturday 😆
250g Mexican cheddar( from Morrisons, Tesco ) the stuff with peppers and chili in.
8 Spring Onions finely chopped.
50g Walnuts, finely chopped.
200g Plain flour.
2 or 3 Tsp of Dijon mustard. (according to your own taste )
100g butter, well softened.
Pre-heat oven to 190 c gas 5.
Grate the cheese into a bowl.Thinly slice the onions, chop the walnuts and stir into the cheese. Stir in the flour and mustard.
Melt the butter, add to the bowl and knead together until well blended.
Shape into shapes slightly bigger than a golf ball, then flatten out to about 10 - 15 mm thick.
Bake for about 15 mins until golden brown.
Leave to cool on the tray for a couple of mins.
Devour quickly 😛 or
Transfer to a wire to cool properly, then...^^^^
Enjoy often 😛 They work well when dunked in the soup of your choice also.
