For some reason I’ve never actually made it over to the Peak District on the bike, so decided I am going to head over and see what all the fuss is about on Friday!

I’ll be driving over from Leeds, I’m thinking of doing a loop around Ladybower - can anyone recommend a 3-4 hour loop that’s easy enough to follow? On the enduro bike so some big descents would be ace, not afraid of a good climb too! Where would be the best place to park? A Strava route or similar would be a big help as I’ll be using my phone as I don’t have a clue about the area. Ta!

Relatively easy loop around ladybower ( ignore tha tail, tha was just me cycling home after): https://strava.app.link/5vYbtyostob

This is my standard Peak look. Especially good if you have two cars or can get dropped off at Mam Tor

Few pieces here, but not yet gig photos of the best bits

Get to Ashopton Viaduct early (free parking), cycle back to Thornhill Village via the cyclepath and old railway line. From Thornhill up to Win Hill, across the plateau and then down the Beast, head left at the bottom and cross over Snake Pass heading up to Hagg Hill Farm area then a nice downhill to join the very quiet road around Derwent Dam and a brew at Fairholmes. Roughly 3-4hours

I read that as cross Snake Pass!
Might I respectfully suggest that rather than going up Hagg Farm you hang a left and then turn right up Rowlea Farm after about 1km. It's all easily rideable, which I don't think Hagg Farm is.
( apologies to Nick ( and chapeau) if I'm wrong and he does)

Potato alley possibly better if going up rowlee farm.Straight on at hope cross(right takes you down beast)for roughly 15mins,then down potato alley, turn right at bottom follow to snake pass then straight ahead.Either way is good 👍
