Anyone know the Peaks near Rowarth? Went up there today and saw a route that I didn't get time to go down and wondering where it leads to and if it's any good?
Before the drop down towards the little mill inn theres a fork, one down to the little mill and one off to the right, anyone know where this leads and if it can be incorporated into a loop to New Mills or Roman Lakes?

Think you mean here?

That way skirts Lantern Pike and drops you at the bottom of the Access land near blackshaw farm on the Penine Bridleway.
Loads of loops can be added both by going down that way or coming back up it including middle moor, Matley moor and beyond.

Thats the one. I've been walking up Lantern Pike ages ago, looks like a few ways back round towards New Mills from there.

Yep, technically a footpath, but everyone and their dog rides it. Mildly interesting rocky descent takes you down onto the muddy diagonal field below Lantern Pike. You can also cut right and traverse over to the bottom of the Lantern Pike climb on grassy singletrack from the top of the descent at the gate on the skyline.
