I'm sure lots of people know this already but I just found out on a ride today that the lower path next to Burbage Rocks is now a Permissive Bridleway. Did a quick Google and couldn't find anything so thought I'd pop something up here for future reference.
I now expect Ride Sheffield and Peak District MTB groups to point out the blatently obvious announcement that I couldn't find 🙂
When it was cheeky, it used to be a fun blast - it's now (/was last time I rode it) a sterilised bore-fest. Take the cheeky, techy topside option and finish with Flowhouse
I was on the commuter which has drop bars and 35c tyres so it suited me fine TBH. Quite good to be able to scoot down from ringlow,through longshaw and along curbar edge.
