laptop with vista, repeatedly goes off line, sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes longer, no apparent pattern, have to click on 'work online' in tools. Missus has no trouble logged in under her name to same machine. Did see a message about 'delivery manager error' I have no technical knowledge of how these things work! Can anyone please help?!
log in with your your missus name and do a virus scan, also get hold of spybot and give the computer a test.

But if it was me i would format the hard drive and install xp or ubuntu
I used to have the same problem with an HP TX series laptop. Problem turned out to be that fact it was cheaply made and when it got hot the chips would debond from the motherboard including the wireless controller and graphics chip. Never buy HP again.
