From personal experience packing with grease may reduce noise but I have found that the pawls sit up too much and don`t locate properly causing the cassette to slip, only my opinion.I find less is better.

I have crammed it in there at various times with Hope hubs and they go quiet for a bit. Never had any issue. Grease will get displaced soon enough

If it's a Hope hub, the video recommends just enough grease to fill the ratchets and then some between the pawls and springs to keep them lubed. As long as the pawls still engage properly it's not causing any damage - you're just carrying a bit of extra weight around and losing the lovely clicky sound.

Hope you stuck some extra grease in the bearings. I replaced my bearings last weekend and found one of the new ones had no grease in at all; the other one had about half what it should have done
