Paul's Klamper Brakes - Anyone bought them?
I like the simplicity of cable discs and these do look great.
Is that £190 per caliper or a set?
per caliper. yep - ferociously expensive 😆
I’ve had them on a SS - over priced shyte in my opinion.
Need adjusting before and some times on every ride.
Marginally better than Spyres- infanately more shyte than Shimano hydros.
The cool kids love them though.........
per caliper. yep – ferociously expensive
Bloomin heck. I was thinking of them as a bit of bling for a SSCX build and possibly more future proof than buying Hylex (if I wanted gears at some point).
It's been inferred, but can I be the first to say
How much??!!
How much??!!
You could buy a bike for that, which would probably come with hydraulic brakes.
Or a set of RS505 brakes, and a set of RX4 calipers if you wanted niche/bling.
To be fair Paul Components are never at the value end of the market!
Like a more ugly, more expensive, less effective bb7...
I always assumed people only buy them so their bike can be on the Radavist.
Im sorry, but they don't even look bling to me.
If it weren't for the different colours you'd glance at them and just think they are BB7's.
