Thinking of being in morzine when this is on and hope to enter...does anyone know whether you can use all of the lifts and runs as normal during the weekend if you are not part of the event..??

Yes, pretty sure you can, certainly the majority of them, but be prepared to queue a bit in the morning when it all kicks off - otherwise should be fine - IIRC!!

As far as I know, the passportes is sold out from Morzine.

It sold out from Morzine within about 30 mins of opening in February. there are still spaces for random areas across the border in Switzerland. You can still buy a lift pass for that weekend, so you could jump on the band wagon and not get the food etc. Just be prepared to queue like someone has already said, worth going and doing for once though it is a right craic.
