I've been sobbing like a big girls blouse all the way through the olympics, started back at work just as the Paralympics started after a year on the dole so have missed most of it which is bad but means I javen't used 100 boxes of tissues

Agree, I think this Olympics have really placed the two sides of the games on a very equal footing. Its a great job by all in presenting these games...

I was pretty impressed at the BBC getting behind the Paralympics way before the games started and its just got better.

"They're not that pretty " Now that's true for them Death Ball chappies but there are some real good lookers out there.

I have loved it all whatever the sport, I have even watched the footy final for gods sake. It's all been pretty bloody awsome.

Having spent the last 6 months recovering from I pretty serious bike accident it's put a lot of stuff in perspective for me. I feel humbled by what I have witnessed and totally fired up to get out there again.

You know what? We've done rather well at this Olympic and Paralympic malarkey, haven't we?

It's been brilliant, the whole thing has been brilliant.

Storey, Weir, Simmonds, Peacock, and so many more. Awesome.

We did 4 sessions in the Velodrome and 2 basketball in The Dome
That velodrome has to be experienced to be believed. World records, gold medals, and in Sarah Storeys case, both at once. When that happens right in front of you and the crowd goes totally wappy it raises the hair on your arms and the pure emotion cannot be described.
But it's not just that, every single rider gets cheered every single lap. And that matters.
But when a British rider takes gold in a world record time, right in front of you..?
I'll never, ever forget it.
Worth every single penny.

At the men's MTB race, every single rider was cheered. Especially those who weren't all that good! The guy from Guam was yelled at from the rafters, I bet he's never heard anything like it! As each lap went by, every rider was cheered so loudly, but there was always a special, louder cheer for the underdog.

The cheering, the humour, the volunteers, the games - Awesome. Truly awesome.
