So in the stupid.is household it's parcel day. Waiting in a new pair of RS Revs from PlanetX via Yodel and a few oods and sods from CRC via Royal Mail. So who do reckon will win?

Anyone else waiting on things to arrive?

@sandwicheater I have not shame in using a 28t front with a 42t outback!

@bruneep yeah I'm not holding my breath!

Half price XT BB and a couple of spanky fresh pedal seals just arrived from CRC via the Collect+ service at my local Bargain Booze.

I haven't really spent any money with the bike industry over the last 18 months but I've been going absolutely mental on the cycling related purchases this year... first it was a new chain and now this!!

So so stoked...

I very nearly bought those revs from On One, when I went back to look again they'd gone!!

I'm waiting for new goggles for my son and me (a pair each!) And some new red shorts. Royal mail CRC, email this morning says delivery today. I hope so as I'm not at work tomorrow....

Oooh Yodel update. It's out with the driver. Only 49 other people before me. 🙁

Yeah I had been looking for a cheapish 29er fork for a little while so when I saw them grab them there and then. I will be curious as to much stiffer they are over the same spec Reba.

Not very exciting, but waiting on wheel bearings to finish the annual service on my XC bike. Shout out to Matt from Aire Bearings who, when it became apparent that my first lot had gone missing in the post, kindly offered to drive over and hand-deliver a replacement set. Top service!

All I need now is a couple of hours of peace and quiet to finish the job off...

Waiting for my Topeak Mini 20 from the Evan ebay shop (was £5 cheaper than in store/online). Royal Mail say it will be delivered today - not looked a the tracking yet to see where it is.

I reckon the Royal Mail has it over Yodel for the OP's deliveries.

Lots of things arriving for me here today...

XT brakes from 'Coogan',

RS Pikes, and Eagle groupset from bike-discount.de

... and for the geeky side of things, a dice tower

Not exciting but waiting for a new brake hose today. This is after about two weeks of rebleeding my brakes everynight to find them spongy the next day, bought a piston kit and fitted it, same again. Then put a new level on, same thing. After all that found a tiny hole in the pipe (rubbing at headtube), GRRRRRR..... hopefully fixed tonight though (and in time for the holiday weekend)

I came home to a note from UPS last night saying they'd tried to deliver something, thought I had no idea what. Cue various attempts through their website to sort re-delivery followed by a phone call to customer services to 'Jeremy' who had to be told on three separate occasions that I'd like to deliver to my work address.

On the bright side, I am now the owner of a 29 x 3.0 XR4 tyre. I see a weekend of front wheel grip tests ahead.... (though it doesn't take much to improve on a Maxxis Chronicle!).

I'm waiting for a package from CRC with a Wahoo bolt and a hiplok Z-LOK in it, then some tubeless valves and tubeless tape, both from eBay in seperate parcels.

Would like to go tubeless before a big ride at the weekend if possible!!!

I came home to find a litre of suspension oil, a copper firepit and some clothes for my lass waiting for me. Just need a big bottle of isopropyl alcohol to turn up for maximum excitement.

Received 4 plastic cereal containers when I thought it was a 1/2" to 3/8ths socket adapter for my unchamfered fork cap socket. Palpable anticlimax.

Well you did ask.

Chloroform or Rohypnol would probably be more effective than the alcohol.

Every effing day is parcel day in our house. Makeup, clothes, health supplement shite, more makeup. It never bloody stops. I have no clue how the minister and undersecretary for shopping afford it all, because there's no way I could!!

For anyone wonder (I know you all are) RM did bet Yodel, but in shock twist Yodel did arrive and the info from the app was correct. Shocking eh?

Also PlanetX should get a honourable mention for packing my forks in a huge box!

Well, one down two to go. Should last me a few bikes worth of tubeless conversions! 🙂
