I know absolutely nothing about panniers, but need some for a 2 night coast to coast ride I;m doing on my P7. What's good and what's not?

Thanks

Ortlieb. did lejog and it poured down most of the ten days and stuff stayed dry. They didnt leak and are pretty tough. Only downside is no side pockets but you can add them and they arent the cheapest.

pockets on the side

a bit bigger - though thats not always a good thing

I'd second Plumb's suggestion.

If the rear pannier is too big for you, consider putting a front pannier on the back.

NB. They also sell seconds from their factory in Nelson. I bought a pair from there for C2C last year. Cosmetic fault, eg a bit of the reflective sticker detached = half price. 🙂
