Has anyone had any joy running a pannier rack and a rear mud hugger on a hard tail? Any suggestions?

IMG_1045No.  But with a rack you I just put a layer of something (I use for sale sign plastic) on the rack and that acts at your mudguard.  I have put some between the rack stays too and have a loose bit that I can slide out the back wedged under the tent bag or held on with a voile strap.

Edited to add a photo.  Yes I know I have a lot of stuff.

I use a SKS Speedrocker that fits under a rack. It’s a very flexible design that can be positioned in lots of different ways.
