Nothing too fancy as it's for the few times a year we go to a trailcentre but any recommendations would be welcome.

Fox Launch Pro youth ones in S/M are reasonably snug. Almost a bit too snug on a moderately skinny 11 year old at the minute - so worth measuring up

Good all round protection and a comfy fit. Not silly money but also not cheap. Ours get worn all the time so it seems worth it.
