My existing stands can't cope with the weight of my e shopper. I don't really want to be lifting my bike too high, so wondered if there was something like a paddock stand that will allow gear tuning ?

I got a Twopeak tune up stand x for cleaning my Levo's drive chain.

Its strong enough and breaks down for transport but the bike may wobble about a bit much for gear tuning, although I have not played with the different bracket heights.

Can you position stuff so it just holds the rear wheel up while the front is on the floor and the cranks clear (I can with my stand and my levo) so that way I can do the gears, by positioning I can get either wheel off with the other down which lets me do most jobs.

As per the Andy stand, this one from Home | FJM Custom bike stands needs a hollow BB. Not the cheapest, I've had mine since 3 years & it's great bit of kit. Folds up out of the way to store or take with you, if you wash you bike post ride or for pre-ride gear faffing. Stainless steel so it's not going to rust either, when you do. I've used mine for my Spesch Levo's, so I don't know how much more your bike weighs, that might be worth mentioning to FJM, if you did think about one.
