My only experience of these is a pair of Shimano XTR baggies that I had years ago with a detachable padded liner short. Whilst they were ok at the saddle contact point they were never particularly comfortable to wear and as such they didn't get used much at all.
These days I ride without any padded shorts, but as I've been looking for a more comfortable saddle for a while now I've come to thinking that maybe I'm doing things the wrong way around!
So I'm thinking of investing in a quality pair of padded shorts to wear under my baggies, but the choice appears to be bewildering! Are there any brands that I should be gravitating towards?

My bum likes santini shorts, good pads, they fit me well, decent priced and last ages. It doesnt mean they'll work for you but they'd get thumbs up from me.
