Need to post a pair of stel beaded tyres - could squeeze them into a slightly too small box or just wrap up in a bin-bag type affair.

Twist them figure of 8 style, then fold over.
Doesn't hurt the bead or the tyre, but makes them half the size.
Then put in box.

You could do what I do with motorbike tyres- I don't wrap them at all, just tape them together and stick a label on.

What stratobiker said, or into thirds but there is a nack to avoid damaging the beads.
