Morning all.
Acquired a pair of above. Instruction sheet says maximum recommended size 165mm, but will accommodate 185. Have a brake set with 180 front rotor. Will I die?

Why go with the 180mm the RC31 is a cross country fork, just buy what it was designed for 😯

Coz I have the brake set from a previous bike sitting in the 'bike bits' box in the garage.

I've done it before, didn't die but the amount of flex it caused was quite worrying . if you do it I would ride 'easy' on the brakes and try to avoid slamming the front full on

RC31s flex with a 160 rotor too, can't see it making that much difference.

Definitely more flexy than other carbon forks I have used.
