I bought a pair off here and they seem to have two round holes/indentations towards the top of the leg, anyone know if/what they are for?
Something to do with the manufacturing process I think... Both my RC31's have had rubber bungs bonded into those holes.
There not 'holes' exactly, more you can see a sort of lining past the carbon? Nothing to worry about then?
yep there the ones i have too
on mine too, wouldnt worry about it
Yes mine had them too.
Isn't that where you afix the aftermarket rim brake bosses?

couple of meaty self tapping screws and the job's a good 'un, kind of thing?
For running them new-fangled 31er front wheels?Isn't that where you afix the aftermarket rim brake bosses?
No - aftermarket rim brake bosses sit much lower and are clamped around the leg. Mine has the holes too - no idea what they're for.
All RC31 forks have them, its for injection of swiss cheese !!!
They were used for injection of bonding agent (aka glue) please do not self tap a brake mount here as the cheese may leak out 😯
the cheese may leak out
that would drive me emmental.
