Any FR-01 owners had this problem?

Mine are starting to smell pretty bad!

Not sure they would stand being chucked in the washing machine?

Solutions please!

Get some baby sterilising tablets and soak them in cold water/tablet solution.

Works for stinky tops as well.

Sodium bicarbonate is a pretty effective deodorizer as well. If it shifts milky baby sick from a carpet it should manage some foot funk.

Mycota foot powder, sprinkle it on your feet, then the socks then a little in the boots, can be messy, and is actually a foot treatment but I've found it makes boots smell fresh as a daisy after a few applications

Very timely, I’ve just dug my winter shoes out and I was tempted to bin them and buy some new ones because they HONK. Will try the bicarbonate option, just sprinkle some on and leave, or make up with water and soak?

White vinegar is very effective on synthetic base layers.

I thought the point of these was that they could go in the machine.

Gave in and chucked them in the machine, small amount of detergent and cold wash......

They still whiff a bit!

Have emailed OWN for their recommendations!

I asked similiarish for my stinking commuting gear - the reply was Halo sports wash. After using it I can say it works v well.

Try washing them in machine again but use Halo Sports Wash. Never tried it on foot wear but works wonders for smelly clothes.
