My fairly new 5 10 vxi impacts are killing my balls after about 1.5 hrs , I manage a lot longer with my AM41s but still get some discomfort. Could my pedals be adding to this? Doesnt seem likely I know.
I did about 2.5 hrs continuous today & was in muchos discomfortos by the end. & it's feet balls right!
I used to get hot spots in impacts because my shoe was wider than the pedal and I tend to put more pressure on the outside of my foot. Switched from V12 to straitline defactos as they were wider which helped. These days I use catalysts pedals and never get any pain even on longer rides.
Interesting , its V8's I've got. Just checked out them catalysts , will do more research.
Thanks
Try wearing them on your feet instead ..would appear to be the obvious solution 😉
*note to self ...always read the post to the very end ..
I'd try some insoles to better support your whole foot and spread the load*

If it's the other balls more supportive underwear and stop humblebragging.

Place your foot more centrally over the pedal? Bigger pedals? My pedal axles are level with the third pair of lace eyelets I think.
Yeah I already pay attention on correct foot placement when I'm out . Going to try some new pedals , the sideshow Bob catalysts look a bit weird , so still pondering them. Tempted by the Nano's @ £40 the now , not keen on forking out £100ish quid on the prime choice range of pedals. Cause I is a bit tight , but I is a bit sore.
I tried the Catalysts - went back to my Vaults after a few months. Anything that kind of size and concave would probably do me but I feel very attached to the Vaults!
