You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I used to be a fan of Viewranger but now use Outdooractive. Recently they have changed display for ride details. It now gives helpful titles like ' Scenic Mountain Bike Tour of.....' . However it has dropped the ride date. I do find it useful to know when I did certain rides when looking back so does anyone know how to get the date back?
Are you looking at routes? Or tracks? Tracks show the date created (on my phone at least). It's only the Routes page that doesn't show the date for me.
If you go to,
My Page > Routes > Tap on the route > scroll down to 'statistics' it gives you the created on date.
Not quite as convenient as seeing it in the overview page but it is there.
Also, on the 'Routes' page, click on filter and you can select to filter by most recently created it will put them all in chronological order
Out of interest, where are you viewing these "rides" - as Routes or Tracks and is this on the app or web?
I persevered with OA after long term Viewranger use and it does everything I need (mostly route planning and navigation) and, having recently bought a second-hand Garmin 530+, I appreciate the seamless sync of routes into the Garmin device which I now use for on bar navigation.
These are on tracks recorded on the app on my phone. Looking at earlier tracks this change seems to have kicked in on 1st May.
Just looked on the play store and there was an update released on 6th May so maybe that's whats removed the dates.
I haven't updated yet and the most recent tracks and routes I've got were synced from my Garmin and still show the date.
Bin it off and get Memory Map?
Outdooractive is garbage.
^^^ yep
I emailed support team as suggested and received an acknowledgement but I have just looked at my tracks and dates have miraculously appeared! Quick work or a coincidence, who knows.
