I've got a big tub of torq powder in the cupboard which is best before July 13. I don't use it often (obviously) but am racing tonight and would rather not have to buy another lot. Will I die of being tight? Will my already tested gastric system cope?

Open or sealed? Sealed, maybe. Open, no chance. Think of all the lovely mould spores that will have been growing on the sugars for the past year.

Make it with boiling water and let it cool?

Wynne wins.

Will be fine. Drink eat energy food that's years out of code.

If you're worried give it to me.

If it's still dry and very powdery then fine. If it's started to discolour and clum up, ditch it and throw it away.

I had loads in my life with an out of date sticker and I'm still here 🙂

If only the dead could post their experiences to counterbalance.

It'll be absolutely fine. I'd hardly consider summer 2013 out of date - I'm still using energy products best before 2011.

There's no way mould will be growing on anything that dry and concentrated.
